Our Mission
The Mission of Prism Healthcare Management Group is to develop, acquire and operate skilled nursing, Alzheimer, assisted, supportive and independent living facilities and to work as an integral part of the continuum of the larger healthcare community with a responsibility to understand resident needs inside and outside of our facilities. Our mission is a commitment to compassionate care. People are our most important resource, and caring for our residents and families is our most important priority.
Our Value Strategy
Our value strategies are realized through implementation of our analysis tools and facility specific programs which create efficiency, by lowering costs while increasing quality of care and revenues earned, which in turn increase the value of the facility and our residents quality of life with immediate results in a three to six month time frame, and increased facility value in a twenty-four month time frame.
Our Goals
Our goal is to provide the highest quality of life for our patients, residents, families and team members through leading edge programming that we have developed and delivered through empowered physicians, nurses, therapists and other committed healthcare professionals.
Traditionally, nursing homes have operated under a "medical model" of health care incorporating many institutional practices that are common in hospitals. Prism Healthcare Management Group’s goal is to instill a culture change to go beyond the provision of excellent medical health care by building an environment that promotes choice, empowers residents and staff, nurtures our human spirit, and creates kinder, gentler and more satisfying places to live, work and eat.
The goal of our programs is to shift to a residential, therapeutic model, focusing on social and emotional well-being, which also serves as a catalyst in helping to create communities that engage the interests and capacities of both residents and staff, which foster growth and development. This value based mindset offers us a competitive advantage because happier patients have better outcomes, which in turn provides larger margins for our shareholders
